About Us

The WiNOG Grants Cooperative is a 501(c)6 not for profit (NFP) business association that was established to help rural broadband wireless providers take advantage of Broadband Stimulus Program Funding.

Who we are:

A coalition of broadband access providers that utilize fixed wireless technology to deliver broadband access in rural communities.

Why we formed:

To pool our collective resources to increase the probability of obtaining grant awards.  By working together, we will reduce the administrative costs of applying for and implementing grant projects.

Where we are:

Most of us have strong ties to the communities that we serve and live in the markets where we do business.  On average, we service 5,000 access lines and have over 10 years of experience bringing Internet-based technologies to our respective markets.

In aggregate, we service over 200,000 access lines and cover in excess of 10 million households throughout Rural America.

Our Goals:

  1. Promote small business
  2. Create Local Jobs
  3. Bridge the Rural Digital Divide
